Hello, and welcome to my blog. My name is Edel and I am a 24
year old English and Lit graduate who is currently undertaking a gruelling
masters in Museum Studies of all things. I am also a book blogger who loves
nothing more than getting lost in a new world. When I am not absorbed in the
wondrous world of books I am away in my own fantasy world. I write my reviews
as if I were sitting down chatting with a friend. My love for reading, and ranting and raving
over books led to the birth of The Irish Bookworm. My favourite genre by far is
fantasy as, in the words of Dr. Seuss: “I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary
ingredient in living.”. My pet peeves in
books are romance driven plot lines and poor female characters.
